Thank you for visiting the Brooklet Peanut Festival Website! If you've never heard of Brooklet, it is a small town in Southeast Georgia. We are located in Bulloch County only about 45 minutes from Savannah.
Our festival is held each year on the third Saturday in August. There are many aspects to our festival. Links to the areas of the festival can be found above.
THE 20TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 15, 2009!
A shuttle will be provided throughout downtown Brooklet with designated stops. To see and/or print a map of these stops,click here. The shuttle will run from before the parade begins until 5:00 PM.
Here is a brief rundown of what to expect at the 20th Annual Brooklet Peanut Festival:
7 AM - Peanut Run
10 AM - Parade Begins (televised on WTOC cable Channel 11 Savannah)
Beginning at 10 AM - Arts & Crafts and Food Vendors available
Beginning at 11:30 AM - Live Free Entertainment (at the festival site)
7 PM - Street Dance Begins
10:30 PM - Street Dance Ends, Farewell to another great festival
